First Cross Fight B-Daman Launcher Guide

Congrats on getting your first Cross Fight B-Daman Warrior. I will be listing a short tutorial on your first B-Daman and what to expect from the Box.

CB01 Starter Accele Dracyan
The Dracyan is probably what I would recommend to many B-Daman players who are picking up B-Daman for the first time. The Accele Dracyan is a Power Type B-da Launcher and comes with a basic "Accele Core". Its easy to put together and is comfortable for all grip techniques.

Your B-Daman comes as a Plastic Kit Model aka PlaMo or PlaKit.

Just follow the easy instructions and put you B-Daman together. (Tools like a mini Snip tool and sanding paper or file are recommended.)

You should have 5 major sections once you cut out and assemble the necessary basic parts.

Head Part

The Head Part is where you load the Marbles. Some B-Daman like CB01and CB08 comes with a loader head cap to cover the B-da Marble loading access. The Head portion also serve as a grip support for Overhand Grip launch techniques and also a Targeting Sight (To be featured in later posts)

Arms Parts X 2

The Arm Parts are Important parts as they are also the main support and pivot steering section of the B-Daman Launcher. The Arms are also 2 of the 4 points that keeps the Core in place using the red pegs included.

Leg Part

Also known as the Base of the Launcher. The Leg Part is the main Stabilizing point of the Launcher and keeps the B-Daman Level to the ground for accurate and power shots.

Core and Safety Pack

The Core and Safety Pack forms the Major portion of the B-Daman called the Main Core. The Core is basically a Holder & Trigger operated Marble Launcher that propels a B-da Marble when launched. There are many Core Types and each function differently according to their attributes and functions.

To put your B-daman Launcher together, Attach the Arms and Base to the Core first using the Red Pegs and Tool (Included). Push the Peg into place after attaching the Arm/Base and use the Tool to twist lock the Peg to Fix. After, attach the head portion front (Chin) first and then locking the back clips down.

Your B-Daman Launcher is now ready?! is it?

CB03 Metal Accele Core

The Basic Accele Core that comes with the Dracyan also comes in a Heavy Upgrade version. This enhanced Core has a more rugged metal structure and PC clip and trigger lever.

The Power Type Accele Core,  focuses on power by "Accelerating" the speed of B-da Marble when launched. The secret is the Rubber Accele Guide in the Core.

The Rubber Guide, stops the bottom surface of the B-da Marble making it more difficult to propel when the trigger is pressed.

The resistance from the Rubber Guide and the High angled Clip will force the B-da Marble to propel and rotate in a Forward rolling spin.

This Forward Spin increases the acceleration speed of the B-da Marble when it contacts the surface of the arena. Delivering a powerful high speed shot!

Accele Dracyan Profile

The Accele Dracyan has an evenly distributed body shape and support many point of Grip Support. The Head of the B-Daman Launcher has a center fin to help in 'Targeting' and the Base is fairly stable with a 3 point contact when coupled with the Safety Pack.

Thou the Dracyan is not recommended for Rapid Fire Challenges due to its more difficult to launch Core, the Dracyan excels in Power Drive Shots that can hit through multiple targets with the right amount of practice and angling skills.

Next level of Playing Marbles

Yes, its nothing new in Japan and its an old traditional game in SG.
Playing marble! but not any marbles~

CrossFight B-Daman Battle!

This cool mecha warriors replaces the traditional hand in shooting glass marbles from its Core Device. Marble is loaded into the Chamber and a Shooting Lever is pushed to fire a powerful shot. There are many different Core types and shooting techniques, making more challenges and modes of play available.

B-Daman Shooter Main Components

The Core
The most important part of the B-Da warrior, it is also this device that shoots the Marble and also hold the shooting attributes. Cores are mainly classified under 5 different catagories.

Power Types

Cores under this category, emphasize on shooting power and distance,  the shooting levers of such cores tend to be more rigid and more difficult to fire. This makes rapid firing difficult.

Rapid Types

Cores with Rapid functions, as it name suggest, are for Rapid Fire purposes. Such cores have a more compact shooting lever and more "soft" grip on the marbles to allow smooth repetitive shooting action . Rapid Fire Cores by default have lesser Power and Distance.

Control Types

Cores under this category have very high Stability and Accuracy in its core design. Control types enables the user to manipulate the marble with a very stable grip on the shooting lever and core. Great for conquering small gaps and balance stages.

Special Types

Cores in this category mostly have Special functions that affect the performance of the marble's movement. like the Twin Core, which can fire up to 2 marbles simultaneously.

The Smash Core, which have a reverse rotation firing core that increases contact impact.

The Drift Core, which can fire a Drifting Marble around a curve!

Balance Types
Cores that are said to be Balance are basically cores with neutral or bi-functional features. Like CB-32 Round Tigaru have a Rapid Fire Core with Control Grip System Combo. Therefore a Balance Type.

Main Customization Parts

These are the parts that form the "Grip" for the Core. Parts can be interchangeable between B-Da Warriors to form the Grip most suitable to your own firing position and style~

The Head
This is where the marbles is loaded and also where further aiming is done. Different Head parts from different B-Da Warriors have different functions. Some with better grip, while others have aiming support.

The Arms
This is where the main Grip of the B-Da shooter is located. Having a strong and stable grip on the B-Daman increases shooting power, accuracy and control.

The Base/Legs
The Base is important for Stability and movement. Only when the B-Daman is stable the shot will never be accurate. Very eccentric to All Core Types.

The Rear Support
This part is often neglected. The Rear Support Part is located just at the back of the core between the shooting lever and the main marble chamber. It Supports the Shooting Lever and also "Lifts" and levels the shooting angle of the lever. Most of the back support comes with the default Core, but little know that it is swappable to increase attributes of other Cores with weaker and smaller Rear Supports.

Tune Up Gear

Addition Parts that enhance the performance of the B-Daman Warrior fall in this section.

Magazines

Marble Magazines that holds from 8, 24 to 45 marbles for Rapid Fire Stages.

Barrels

This attachment in front of the Core, enhances the Marble shooting direction and accuracy

Power Grips/Triggers

Attached to the Shooting Lever for more Grip and Comfort in shooting.

Now you know the basic components of a B-Daman Shooter. In the next post i will cover the shooting techniques and gameplay~

Stay tuned CrossFight Go!
